Hey Jude.!

For those who listen to The Beatles know what I am talking about. “Hey Jude…”. I heard this song first time when I saw the movie ‘Across the Universe’ which basically features the music of Beatles in and out. And I’ve fallen in love with the song.

Hey jude, dont make it bad.
Take a sad song and make it better.
Remember to let her into your heart,
Then you can start to make it better.

Hey jude, dont be afraid.
You were made to go out and get her.
The minute you let her under your skin,
Then you begin to make it better.

And anytime you feel the pain, hey jude, refrain,
Dont carry the world upon your shoulders.
For well you know that its a fool who plays it cool
By making his world a little colder.

The song has  spent nine weeks as number one in the United States—the longest run at the top of the American charts for a Beatles single. The single  sold approximately eight million copies and is frequently included on professional lists of the all-time best songs. – wikipedia

Hey Jude; reminds me of life. It reminds me to move on with tough times. It reminds me that life’s the way we see it.

Hey jude, dont let me down.
You have found her, now go and get her.
Remember to let her into your heart,
Then you can start to make it better.

So let it out and let it in, hey jude, begin,
Youre waiting for someone to perform with.
And dont you know that its just you, hey jude, youll do,
The movement you need is on your shoulder.

‘Hey Jude’ reminds me of how we leave things midway. ‘Hey Jude’ reminds me to pick up these things again. ‘Hey Jude’ reminds me of things never done, It reminds me of things never said. ‘Hey Jude’ reminds me of myself.

Hey jude, dont make it bad.
Take a sad song and make it better.
Remember to let her under your skin,
Then youll begin to make it
Better better better better better better, oh.

Na na na na na ,na na na, hey jude…

Listen to it and let me know, could you relate to Jude, Hey Jude!

Second Life

I’d always heard about Second life; the avatars, the lindens and the virtual world. The other day i thought why not have a hands on experience on it. Oh yes, its free to join and install. All you need is a fast internet connection.

Well I was there for a week and its only today that i deleted the account. It was a mixed experience. First of all most of the people who are on it are addicted to it. Theyknow its virtual. Yet they think they have a life there. How ironic. Well everyone looks good there (atleast most of them, until they wear weird costumes or attach weird attachments).

My experience led me to find many kinds of people there. Well one good thing is that you get to talk to people across the world, but the flipside is that you dont know who’s behind the beautiful mask. May be a 50 year old claiming to be sweet 18.

“Awww I’m 18, and I’m an American… how does my new dress look?”

Talking about a good experience I met this lady who’s into risk management in Australia and was glad when I told her that I was gonna major in marketing. She was a professional person and her activities and profile showed so. She was there to get an insight into people with similar tastes. She was the last person I met on SL (second life) before i cancelled my account.

I’ve met many people, from Australias to the Americas. Well there are Indians too.

There are people who have problems in real life and they just wanna forget or may be end their frustations on SL. Weird! People are going around, have married, live in..etc etc on SL. Yeah just in SL and not in real. How Weird! Yeah and then there are people who like to dance, or may be just build around. There are people who wanna keep adding stuff to their inventories. Pheww!!! Imagine if you could have 10000 pairs of shoes in real? There are people who are worse and just wanna have virtual sex. They have everything there. Even babies. Whoaa!!!

The developers though deserve huge credit to build such a thing. But do we actually need it?

Well I visited the ground Zero at New York City too. You just need to  search it and teleport yourself you see. I’m happy that I managed to delete the account. Who wants to sing, dance, act, or perhaps make out…? with buttons!

We don’t really need a Second Life? Or Do We?
