I know I just haven’t been around! 
And yeah, a lot has happenned over the past 10 days. So much so, that it will take me a while to complete this post. And I really want to pen it down as soon as possible; mainly, so that I can clear my mind and start studying for the midsem exams starting 3rd August and also because if I keep procrastinating about this post, its gonna be August then!
So! This semester onwards we have midsemester exams! Good or Bad?
Well both! Really!
On how its good?
Wow! Exams, No/less cheating, fair competition, fair chance! Chance to get better grades for me as I suck at getting that perfect seat in internals, or may be to wait for another 5 minutes to copy stuff.
On how its bad?
Too less time, too hectic a schedule, not much of preparation yet.
So anyways!
Deluge 2009, the freshers and the alumni meet of my college was held on 21st July 2009 and was quite an event. I too was a part of it as I did a little bit of anchoring and also sung wonderwall for the college band. However there are certain things which I really wanted to talk about, and here they are:
- I hated how the band was made to start to begin the programme, and Moushimi who sings so nice had to sing for an empty hall, followed by me. I hated it. I was pissed off too but it just didn’t bother me as I was with a purpose on stage this time, and that was done away with. I personally hated how we two vocalists who had one song each were made to start off, though things could have been the other way round with the vocalist singing more than that starting off until everyone came along. Really! Who would like to sing the next time like this! No personal offences though!
- Yes it did hit me right on my head, and I decided not to sing for the final fest, Brio! Who wants to look like a wedding singer on stage? But wait! I have decided on something else rather! I’m gonna sing! And I’m gonna sing with the acoustic guitar in my hands! Really! And I’ve started learning already. I might sing a self composed song! Just one song! thats it!
- I couldn’t be as good as I was in college for the anchoring bit. Though it came out pretty ok!
- I’ve been missing and skipping sleep, which is a real bad thing! I seriously needed a break! Which I managed today! I feel really fresh!
- I’m missing Delhi and specially my family a lot these days! Its been quite some time I was around!
- I’ve been listening to ‘More than Words’ on repeat repeat repeat all this time.
- I have found a best friend, in Jude!
- I plan to write a lot this August! Watch this space!
- I’m waiting for placements to begin, really! And I’m keeping my fingers crossed
- I….. I….. I…..
- I’m gonna watch more movies now on. I loved watching ‘You’ve Got Mail’ the other night.
- And ofcourse, a lot other stuff!
So! I think I better get studying now! I feel a lot better after putting all this down. Goodnight!
